Derek joined Resurgens in 2022 as an Operating Executive and brings more than 30 years of software experience with a focus on strategy, go-to-market optimization and M&A execution.
Previously, Derek was president & CEO of Liquibase where he led the company to four years of revenue growth and millions of users. Prior to Liquibase, Derek served as president of Hart InterCivic. During Derek’s tenure at Hart, the company doubled revenue and its customer base while growing EBITDA. Prior to Hart, Derek served as senior vice president of sales for CoreTrace where he led the company through eight quarters of rapid growth. Before CoreTrace, Derek held multiple executive positions at IBM serving on the leadership team for IBM Software Group’s acquisition of Telelogic (TLOG.ST) and was responsible for due diligence and integration of the acquired sales functions globally.
