Jon is a Principal in the portfolio operations team and works with Resurgens’ portfolio companies to identify and implement value creation initiatives.  Jon has a wide range of strategic, operational, and transactional experience in enterprise software.

Before joining Resurgens, Jon worked at Applied Systems, a leading global cloud software provider to the insurance industry.  At Applied, he served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Senior Vice President of Services.  In his corporate development responsibilities, Jon led M&A, strategic planning, partnerships, and pricing.  He successfully completed seven acquisitions, led two minority sale transactions, developed Applied’s five-year strategic plan, and launched the company’s partner program.  In his services leadership role, Jon was responsible for leading a team of over 350 people in the implementation and training of customers on Applied’s solutions.  During his seven years at the company, Applied Systems achieved significant equity returns and more than doubled revenue through the successful execution of its strategic growth initiatives.

Prior to Applied Systems, Jon spent over seven years as a consultant with McKinsey & Company, consulting clients on strategy, sales & marketing, pricing, and operational excellence. Jon also previously held finance and business development positions with Georgia Pacific and Radiant Systems, and he began his career as an accountant with Arthur Andersen.
