Resurgens Technology Partners (“Resurgens”), a software-focused private equity firm, announced today the promotion of Adi Filipovic to managing director.
As one of the firm’s co-founders, Filipovic has been a leader in driving Resurgens’ software buyout investment strategy, targeting profitable, niche-focused businesses. Working together over the past decade, Co-Founder and Managing Director Fred Sturgis and Filipovic have built and refined the firm’s investment model for successful control investing in the lower middle-market software segment.
“Adi’s promotion reflects his tremendous impact on our firm’s strategy, team, portfolio companies and the broader marketplace,” said Sturgis. “He is a uniquely talented investor and an outstanding business partner as we continue to build our firm together.”
With over a decade of technology-focused investment and advisory experience, Filipovic sits on the board of each of the firm’s portfolio companies, including Axosoft, OfficeSpace Software, Investment Metrics, MackeyRMS and Castellan.
“I am grateful for what we have accomplished to date at Resurgens, and more importantly, I’m extremely energized by the talented and motivated teammates both at Resurgens and within our portfolio companies. We love what we do and look forward to the journey ahead,” said Filipovic.
Before co-founding Resurgens, Filipovic and Sturgis worked together at both Accel-KKR and H.I.G. Capital, leading several software investments over the years. Prior to Accel-KKR, Filipovic also spent time at Bain & Co.
