Prior to forming Resurgens, Fred was a Managing Director and the head of the small-buyout practice group at Accel-KKR, one of the industry’s leading technology private equity firms. While at H.I.G., Fred opened and managed the firm’s Atlanta office, led, managed and exited several investments, and hired over twenty investment professionals.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Fred was a Vice President in the technology investment banking group of Hambrecht & Quist. At H&Q, he was a member of the firm’s East Coast software team, advising clients on a variety of M&A and capital raising transactions and sponsoring several principal investments through H&Q’s $500 million venture capital fund. Previously, Fred was with the investment banking groups of both Alex Brown & Sons and Robinson-Humphrey. Fred began his career with Andersen Consulting (Accenture), where he managed software development and operations strategy initiatives for the firm.
