Nigel joined Resurgens in 2020 as an Operating Executive and brings over 30 years of experience leading sales organizations for technology focused organizations. Currently, Nigel acts as an Operating Partner at Superna, Knack and MCIM, along with providing consultancy services focused on sales guidance. Previously, he was President of Global Channels and Alliances at Micro Focus during which he was involved in the integration of three separate acquisitions. Prior to Micro Focus, Nigel served as Senior Vice-President of Worldwide Sales at Embarcadero managing their worldwide direct and channel sales teams and transforming the performance of their Americas sales teams. In this role he was also General Manager of their International Operations, responsible for the full International P&L and significantly driving revenue and EBITDA growth. Throughout this 8-year period Nigel worked closely with the Board and Private Equity owners (Thoma Bravo) on acquisitions, culminating in the sale of the company. Furthermore, Nigel was Vice-President & General Manager EMEA at Borland Software Corp for 10 years prior to joining Embarcadero. During this time he managed a team of over 330 people and tripled annual revenue to in excess of $120m.

What is so great working at RTP is the opportunity to work across multiple portfolio companies and help them to develop their sales and GTM strategies and implementations. Each company is different with their own sales challenges but all have huge opportunities to grow and it’s so exciting implementing new sales outreach programs and then seeing those new $ sales flowing in.
